Allegiant Travel Company would like to take fleet 'closer to 100 A320s' by end of decade
Allegiant Travel Company VP fleet and corporate finance Tom Doxey, speaking at the CAPA Airline Fleet & Finance Summit 2016, said (04-Mar-2016) the carrier would like to take its fleet "closer to 100 A320s by the end of the decade" to replace its Boeing MD-80s and 757s. Mr Doxey added: "That's a soft target, but hopefully in five to six years we have a single fleet type…We've taken some aircraft from Cebu Pacific, easyJet, Philippine Airlines, Iberia - we've taken them from all over the world."
