Allegiant Travel Company encouraged by the change in dialogue with flight attendants

Allegiant Travel Company SVP of planning & COO Jude Bricker, speaking at CAPA's Americas Aviation Summit 2016, stated (12-Apr-2016) the carrier has been very encouraged by the change in dialogue at the negotiations table with its flight attendants. Both flight attendants and pilots at Allegiant have become unionisied over the last few years. The company aims to reach tentative agreements with both groups by YE2016. These are the first collective bargaining negotiations Allegiant has engaged in, and Mr Bricker acknowledged there have been some missteps by the airline, as well as some unrealistic expectations from the unionised work forces.
