Alaska Airlines confirmed one Alaska-branded 737 would operate three times daily Honolulu-Kahului from Oct-2026, ahead of a broader 717 replacement and fleet transition planned to begin in 2028, with the future fleet based at Honolulu Daniel K Inouye International Airport1. Alaska also planned additional Honolulu flying from mid Dec-2026, including Honolulu-Boise (seven times weekly), Honolulu-Spokane (weekly) and extra Honolulu-Las Vegas frequencies2.
