ALAFCO reports it is on track with growth strategy, targets fleet of 100 by 2020

Aviation Lease and Finance Company (ALAFCO) vice chairman and CEO Ahmad A Alzabin reported (26-Apr-2016) the company is "on track" with the implementation of its growth strategy, to be achieved through sale and lease-back agreements with airlines and via the acquisition of aircraft with leases attached. ALAFCO's portfolio consists of 49 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, leased to 14 airlines in 13 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Additionally, the company has outstanding firm orders to acquire 117 Airbus and Boeing aircraft valued at USD14.9 billion, to be delivered between 2017 and 2021.
