Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport planned to suspend cargo handling from Aug-2026 to May-2027 for runway resurfacing and taxiway development works.1 Akasa Air previously commenced services at Navi Mumbai International Airport on 25-Dec-2025, operating routes including Goa Manohar, Delhi, Kochi and Ahmedabad.2 The airport had also faced capacity-related constraints, after Airports Authority of India instructed reduced peak and off-peak movement handling in early 2024.3
