Akasa Air previously took delivery of a Boeing 737-8200 on 21-Jun-2026, taking its fleet to 39 aircraft, following earlier 737-8200 inductions on 16-Apr-2026 and 01-Apr-2026.1 2 3 Akasa Air founder and CEO Vinay Dube said the airline resumed pilot recruitment in Dec-2025 after pausing since Jun-2024 due to Boeing delivery delays, and it employed 757 pilots.4
