Akasa Air expanded its Boeing 737-8200 fleet to 32 aircraft with a delivery on 24-Jan-2026, and CEO Vinay Dube said it expected two more deliveries in Feb-2026, taking the fleet to 34, while also resuming pilot recruitment in Dec-2025 after a pause linked to Boeing delays.1 Akasa Air also signed fresh capital-infusion agreements with investors including Premji Invest, Claypond Capital and 360 ONE Asset, with an additional commitment from the Jhunjhunwala family.2
