Airports Authority of India reportedly scales back debt proposal for modernisation projects

Airports Authority of India (AAI) reportedly announced plans to raise USD604.8 million through debt for the modernisation of 16 non-metro airports over the next two years (The Hindu Business Line, 04-Jan-2010). AAI’s proposal for borrowing has reportedly been reduced from USD1 billion to fund the modernisation of 24 airports (Indian Express, 04-Jan-2010).
