Airport Authority Hong Kong: Third runway at best would commence in 2015

Airport Authority Hong Kong CEO Stanley Hui, speaking on the sidelines of CAPA's World Aviation Summit in Hong Kong, stated (29-Nov-2012) he is extremely confident about future demand and has received very good support from the community for Hong Kong to go ahead with the construction of a third runway. The project also received approval in principle from the Hong Kong Government earlier this year to plan for the third runway. Mr Hui estimates the best case scenario, construction work on the proposed third runway will commence in 2015.
