Airbus: TAM’s first A350 XWB due by the end of 2015

Airbus stated (13-May-2015) the first of TAM Airlines’ 27 A350 XWBs on order is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2015. TAM would be the first airline in the Americas to operate the A350 XWB and the fourth globally. Airbus claims the design of the wings will contribute to reducing fuel burn and CO2 emissions by 25 percent compared to previous generations of competing aircraft. [more - original PR]
