Airbus sees replacement demand for 600-700 widebodies

Airbus head of A330, A340 and A350 XWB marketing Alan Pardoe forecast strong demand in the widebody aircraft sector, with orders for 600-700 aircraft expected in the next few years, driven by replacement demand. According to Le Monde, Mr Pardoe said he expects airlines will need to replace around 400-450 Boeing 777s and 250 A340 aircraft.
