Airbus planned to introduce the 'Step 4' performance package for A330neo aircraft from around 4Q2025, aiming to enhance low speed performance and provide additional takeoff weight uplift for the A330-900—up to approximately 2.6 tonnes at certain airports, and as much as four tonnes at more runway-restricted airports. The package targeted improved operations at several challenging airports worldwide1.
