Airbus parent revenue gain 0.6%, profits down in 2Q2010

EADS, parent of Airbus, revenue gains 0.6% - consolidated financial highlights:

    • Revenue: EUR11,358 million, -3.2% year-on-year;
    • Cost of sales: EUR9,782 million, +1.5%;
    • Net profit: EUR82 million, -60.6%;
  • Six months ended 30-Jun-2010:
    • Revenue: EUR20,308 million, +0.6%;
      • Airbus Commercial: EUR12,965 million, -1.8%;
    • Cost of sales: EUR17,626 million, -2.5%;
    • Profit before tax*: EUR600 million, -50%;
      • Airbus Commercial: EUR241 million, -67.3%;
    • Net profit: EUR185 million, -51.1%;
    • Total assets: EUR83,450 million, +4% when compared with period ended 31-Dec-2009;
    • Total liabilities: EUR78,211 million, +12% when compared with period ended 31-Dec-2009;
    • Operating cash flow: EUR59 million, compared with a negative cash flow of EUR547 million in p-c-p;
    • Cash and cash equivalents: EUR5,328 million, -23.9% year-on-year;
    • Order intake: EUR30,800 million, +79%;
