Airbus launches new cabin brand 'Airspace by Airbus'

Airbus launched (23-Mar-2016) its new cabin brand 'Airspace by Airbus'.

  • The new design philosophy is to connect passenger well being with operational performance for airline customers through cabin innovation and design;
  • Airspace will offer a "sophisticated, flexible canvas as a back-drop to enhance the airlines' own brands". The brand encompasses four key dimensions: Comfort, Ambience, Service and Design;
  • Feature of the 'Airspace' cabins include larger overhead storage bins, "spacious and contemporary" lavatories, wider seats and aisles, and unobstructed under-seat foot space;
  • In addition, signature design elements will be consistently recognisable throughout all Airspace cabins - examples include ambient lighting, clean, straight lines and shapes, clear surfaces, and also a unique, customisable welcome area. [more - original PR]
