Airbus expects A321neo to help LCCs and FSCs open new routes in Asia Pacific

Airbus head of marketing Asia & North America Joost van der Haijden, speaking at the CAPA Fleet & Finance Summit, said (03-Mar-2017) there are over 30 A321 customers and operators in Asia. Mr van der Haijden added that he believes the A321neo will not only facilitate growth of LCCs but will assist full service carriers in opening longer and thinner routes. 41% of the A320 family deliveries in 2016 were A321.
