Airbus expects 2011 orders to beat 2010

Airbus Chief Operations Officer Fabrice Bregier confirmed the company expected to receive more orders in 2011 than in 2010, while the proportion of order cancellations is expected to be approximately the same as the previous year (Reuters, 01-Jun-2011). Airbus booked 544 net orders in 2010 and 70 cancellations. Cancellations are expected to run at 10-15% of new orders. Airbus expects deliveries of 520-530 aircraft in 2011.
