Airbus: Assembly of first A330-300 Regional for Saudi Arabian Airlines progressing well

Airbus reported (01-Mar-2016) assembly of Saudi Arabian Airlines' first A330-300 Regional is well underway and "progressing well" at the Airbus Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse. The airplane is now in the initial fuselage section joining phase and will move to the next assembly station for wing junction, start of cabin installation and first power-on. The aircraft is the first of 20 A330-300 Regional that will join the airline's fleet, with Saudi Arabian Airlines as launch customer. [more - original PR]
