airBaltic’s wet lease activity increased in 2025, with 30,000 ACMI flights (+14.5% YoY) and wet lease accounting for 20% of revenue, while the average ACMI fleet rose to 14 aircraft (seasonal peak up to 20) and operations included Lufthansa Group and other European carriers.1 airBaltic planned to raise ACMI-out capacity by 20% in 2025 and signed a strategic wet lease agreement with Lufthansa Group to deploy up to 21 aircraft from 2025 to 2027, with partners including SWISS, Eurowings and Lufthansa.2 airBaltic also introduced a new pilot offer from 01-Jan-2026 featuring flexible roster options, including a commuting roster aimed at attracting foreign pilots, plus a revised salary structure and progression path.3
