airBaltic CEO: A220 'is the backbone of what we do'

airBaltic president and CEO Martin Gauss, speaking at the CAPA World Aviation Summit & Awards for Excellence, stated (01-Dec-2022) the A220-300 "is the backbone of what we do" and the airline expects to take delivery of another 12 of the aircraft over the next 12 months. Mr Gauss also said the simplicity of operating a single aircraft type provides "huge benefits".
