AirAsia defers delivery of eight aircraft due for delivery in 2011 to 2014 and 2015

AirAsia confirmed (29-Oct-2009) it has signed an amendment agreement with Airbus to defer the delivery dates of eight A320 aircraft, originally scheduled for delivery in 2011, to the year 2014 and 2015. AirAsia cited infrastructure constraints at Kuala Lumpur International Airport's LCCT as the reason behind the deferments. [more]
