Air Zimbabwe delays flight due to fuel shortage

Air Zimbabwe was forced to delay a Harare-Bulawayo service by two hours as the carrier reportedly failed to secure approximately USD4000 for fuel supplies (All Africa, 10-May-2011). The fuel suppliers reportedly asked the airline to settle its debts, estimated at USD1 million, before it could release any supplies. London-bound Air Zimbabwe passengers were stranded last week when the flight was cancelled due to reported fuel shortages.
