Air Serbia's GM commercial and strategy Boško Rupić stated the Belgrade-Toronto service would operate seasonally, twice weekly from late May-2026 until the end of September 20261. The carrier had previously considered both Toronto and Miami as potential third North American destinations, noting Toronto's large diaspora and high seasonality2. Serbia and Canada signed an air service agreement to facilitate such routes3.
