Air Premia CEO: Our target is the six to 10 hour destination range

Air Premia CEO Dr Jong Chul Kim, speaking at the CAPA LCCs in North Asia Summit, stated (12-Jun-2018) the carrier's "target is the six to 10 hour destination range". Dr Kim said the start up LCC will be required to operate some domestic short haul services initially to train pilots and satisfy South Korea licensing regulations, but noted it is very difficult for one LCC to simultaneously undertake short haul domestic operations with narrowbody aircraft and long haul international operations with widebody aircraft. He added that Air Premia aims to partner with a domestic LCC to feed connecting traffic.
