Air Nigeria cancels seven services due to scarcity of aviation fuel

Air Nigeria was forced to cancel seven services due to scarcity of aviation fuel, which left passengers stranded at Murtala Muhammed Airport (Daily Trust, 26-May-2011). Nigerian carriers have been having a running battle with fuel marketers who increased the price of the product from NGN120 (USD0.76) per litre to NGN150 and NGN162 depending on the location.
