Air Lease Corporation files for IPO

Air Lease Corporation filed for an IPO of up to USD100 million (Bloomberg, 16-Jan-2011). The company has already secured USD13 billion in equity capital and USD2 billion in debt financing. Air Lease Corporation has a fleet of 36 narrowbodies and four widebodies. It plans to acquire more than 100 aircraft by the end of 2011, with orders in place for 148 aircraft to be delivered by 2017.
