Air Lease Corp chairman: 'The 747 is history' as a passenger aircraft

Air Lease Corporation executive chairman Steven Udvar-Hazy, speaking on the CAPA Masterclass: Air finance outlook and beyond COVID-19, stated (15-Jul-2020) he believes the Boeing 747 is "done" as a passenger aircraft, with the exception of 30 to 40 747-8s in operation with Air China, Korean Air and Lufthansa. Mr Udvar-Hazy commented: "I think the 747 is history" as a passenger aircraft.
