Air Jamaica announces schedules changes for March and April 2010 as it cuts fleet

Air Jamaica announced (02-Feb-2010) a significant realignment in its network - including the suspension of service on several routes - driven by the departure of three aircraft from its fleet. By Apr-2010, Air Jamaica will operate six aircraft; one A319, four A320s and one A321. The following services will be suspended:

• Grenada-New York (JFK), Jamaica-Orlando, effective 09-Mar-2010;
• Jamaica to: Chicago, Curacao, Havana and Nassau, effective 12-Apr-2012
• New Schedules will be in place for Kingston, New York, Nassau, Baltimore, Montego Bay, Philadelphia, Toronto and Fort Lauderdale from Mar-2010. [more]
