Air India's first 787 arrives in Delhi

Air India confirmed (06-Sep-2012) the delivery of its first Boeing 787. The 256-seat aircraft, configured with 18 business and 238 economy seats, arrived in Delhi on 08-Sep-2012, becoming the first of 27 787s to be delivered to the carrier. The carrier's IFE system (Top Series i8000) has been supplied by Thales. The carrier is scheduled to take delivery of eight 787s by Mar-2013. [more - original PR]
