Air France to be hit by industrial action by air traffic controllers
French Civil Aviation Authority announced (22-Feb-2010) that, due to industrial action by air traffic controllers between 23-Feb-2010 and 26-Feb-2010, the number of flights during this period will be reduced.
Air France has consequently announced the following it will operate:
- 100% of its long-haul flights over these four days
- On 23 and 24-Feb-2010 Air France will operate:
- 75% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Charles de Gaulle,
- 50% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Orly.
Air France announced some flights may have to be cancelled during the day and warns of possible delays, which it hopes to mitgate by offering alternative solutions either on KLM or other SkyTeam partners.
