Air France-KLM pax up 4%, load also up in May-2013; cargo traffic and unit revenue down

Air France-KLM passenger numbers up 4% - traffic highlights for May-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 6.8 million, +3.9% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 81.7%, +0.9 ppt;
    • Europe: 78.1%, +3.9 ppts;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 87.6%, +0.9 ppt;
    • Asia Pacific: 81.4%, -0.6 ppt;
    • Africa/Middle East: 74.0%, -1.2 ppt;
    • Caribbean/Indian Ocean: 81.0%, +0.2 ppt;
  • Cargo traffic (RFTKs): -6.4%;
    • Europe: -3.2%;
    • Trans-Atlantic: +0.4%;
    • Asia Pacific: -13.2%;
    • Africa/Middle East: -0.1%;
    • Caribbean/Indian Ocean: -21.9%.

Air France-KLM: "Unit revenue per available seat kilometer (RASK) ex-currency was down relative to May 2012, having been
