Air France-KLM pax numbers up 2.5% in Jun-2012, cargo traffic down 2.8%. Unit revenue weaker
Air France-KLM reports (06-Jul-2012) the following traffic highlights in Jun-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 6.9 million, +2.5% year-on-year;
- Europe: 4.8 million, +2.5%;
- Americas: 921,000, +3.4%;
- Asia Pacific: 517,000, +8.3%;
- Africa and Middle East: 424,000, +1.2%;
- Caribbean and Indian Ocean: 211,000, -10.2%;
- Passenger load factor: 84.2%, +2.2 ppts;
- Europe: 77%, -1.3 ppts;
- Americas: 90.3%, +3.4 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 87.1%, +2.6 ppts;
- Africa and Middle East: 80.8%, +3.6 ppts;
- Caribbean and Indian Ocean: 76.3%, +1.9 ppts;
- Cargo traffic (RTKs): -2.8%;

AirFrance-KLM: "The number of passengers stood at 6.9 million (+2.5%). Unit revenue per available seat kilometer progressed relative to June 2011. The decline in cargo traffic in June 2012 was more limited than in previous months. Capacity was reduced by 1.4% while traffic declined by 2.8%.
