Air France-KLM passenger numbers down 3.2% - traffic highlights in Jan-2010:

• Passenger numbers: 5.1 million, -3.2% year-on-year;
  • Europe: 3.2 million, -4.4%;
  • Trans-Atlantic: 661,000, -0.5%;
  • Asia Pacific: 457,000, +1.0%;
  • Africa/Middle East: 443,000, -2.2%;
  • Caribbean/Indian Ocean: 287,000, -3.3%;
• Load factor: 78.0%, +1.4 ppt;
  • Europe: 61.6%, +1.8 ppt;
  • Trans-Atlantic: 83.8%, +3.5 ppts;
  • Asia Pacific: 84.6%, +1.0 ppt;
  • Africa/Middle East: 76.4%, +0.2 ppt;
  • Caribbean/Indian Ocean: 80.6%, -3.0 ppts;

Air France-KLM: "The cargo business benefited from an improved environment, with a slight increase in volumes (+0.6%), a 2.0% rise in traffic and an 11.4% reduction in capacity. The load factor gained 8.5 points to 64.3%. The Asia network saw a marked recovery both in terms of volumes and traffic.
