Air France-KLM passenger numbers up 6.1% in May-2011

Air France-KLM reports (08-Jun-2011) the following traffic highlights in May-2011:

  • Passenger numbers: 6.6 million, +6.1% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 79.8%, -0.7 ppt;
    • Europe: 74.6%, +0.4 ppt;
    • Americas: 86.1%, -0.3 ppt;
    • Asia Pacific: 81.2%, -2.4 ppts;
    • Africa and Middle East: 71.4%, -2.1 ppts;
    • Caribbean and Indian Ocean: 78.5%, -0.1 ppt;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -1.4%;
  • Cargo load factor: 67.8%, -2.9 ppts. [more]

Air France KLM: “In May 2011 traffic increased by 4.9% for capacity up by 5.9%, leading to a slight 0.7 point decline in load factor to 79.8%. The group carried 6.58 million passengers (+6.1%).
