Air Finland ground operations; files for bankruptcy

Air Finland, founded in 2002, reportedly grounded operations and filed for bankruptcy on 26-Jun-2012, according to YLE reports. The Helsinki-based operator reportedly cited high fuel prices and low utilisation levels as the reasons behind the grounding. According to Innovata, the carrier operated services to/from Helsinki to Alicante, Antalya, Chania Ioannis Daskalogiannis, Malaga and Rhodes Diagoras airports.
