Air Canada unveils new livery, uniforms and onboard menu

Air Canada unveiled (09-Feb-2017) a new livery inspired by Canada for its entire fleet, as well as new uniforms for its employees, and some of its new onboard menu offerings. Air Canada's fleet of 300 mainline and regional aircraft are being repainted in a black and white design highlighting its red maple leaf encircled ensign, with the first three aircraft sporting this new livery to enter service immediately. The carrier also premiered charcoal grey and black employee uniforms with red accents and accessories by Canadian designer Christopher Bates. Air Canada's pilots, flight attendants, airport customer service agents and other uniformed personnel will start wearing the new uniforms later in 2017. President of passenger airlines Benjamin Smith stated: "Air Canada's new livery signals a pivotal inflection point in our 80-year history." [more - original PR]
