Air Austral to remove second 787 from service for engine maintenance in Feb-2020

Air Austral announced (22-Jan-2020) plans to remove one of its two Boeing 787-8s (F-OLRB) from service for four months for engine maintenance from 10-Feb-2020. During the period, the airline will operate Réunion-Mayotte service with 737-800 and operate Réunion-Bangkok service weekly with 777-300ER. The aircraft will also undergo mandatory maintenance from 24-Jan-2020 to 27-Jan-2020 and during this period Air Austral will charter an aircraft from Wamos Air. The airline's other 787-8 (F-OLRC) was previously removed from service to undergo the engine maintenance. [more - original PR - French]
