IATA signed a memorandum of understanding with EASA to align the CO2 Connect calculator with the EU Flight Emissions Label, aiming to streamline emissions data and labelling for passengers and facilitate airline participation in the scheme1. The CO2 Connect programme previously included over 70 contributing airlines and was integrated into the Amadeus Travel Platform, providing emissions data at the point of booking2.
