Aeroflot may base LCC at Moscow Sheremetyevo or Moscow Vnukovo: CEO

Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev said the airline may base its planned low cost subsidiary at either Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport or at Moscow Vnukovo Airport (The Moscow Times/Rossiya 24, 30-May-2013). Mr Savelyev said, "Today, we can't wait until someone builds an airport for us" and said negotiations are underway with Moscow Vnukovo Airport. Mr Savelyev said the airline would operate a fleet of eight A320 or Boeing 737 aircraft in its first year, with more aircraft to be added later.
