Aer Lingus pax numbers up 5% in Dec-2012, 9.7 million pax in 2012

Aer Lingus reports (07-Jan-2013) the following traffic highlights:

  • Dec-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 651,000, +4.5% year-on-year;
      • Short-haul: 575,000, +3.4%;
      • Long-haul: 76,000, +13.4%;
    • Passenger load factor: 70.9%, +2.9 ppts;
      • Short-haul: 66.6%, +0.7 ppt;
      • Long-haul: 77.7%, +6.1 ppts;
  • 12 months ended Dec-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 9.7 million, +1.5%;
      • Short-haul: 8.7 million, +0.7%;
      • Long-haul: 981,000, +9.4%;
    • Passenger load factor: 77.7%, +2.1 ppts;
