Aena previously outlined a EUR4.48 billion infrastructure programme at Madrid’s airports for 2027-2031, including expansion of terminal buildings T4 and T4S, a new processing building and renovations across T1, T2 and T31. It also issued a EUR39.7 million tender to renovate runway 18R-36L at Madrid Barajas, with a 12-month programme and a 47-day closure planned in 20272.
