Aena planned a full runway closure at Santiago de Compostela Airport from 23-Apr-2025 to 27-May-2025 for pavement regeneration, a project budgeted at EUR31.6 million that also included lighting and drainage upgrades, with overall completion expected within 15 months. The airport also allocated EUR1.4 million for low visibility instrument landing system upgrades during the same period1.
