ACV reveal Long Thanh International Airport's project timeline

Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) revealed (28-Nov-2016) general timeline for Long Thanh International Airport development project:

• Phase I will develop one runway and passenger terminal along with supporting facilities capable of handling 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tonnes of cargo p/a. Scheduled to complete and commence operation by 2025;
• Phase II will develop the second runway and passenger terminal to raise capacity to 50 million passengers and 1.5 million tonnes of cargo p/a. Scheduled to complete and commence operation by 2035;
• Phase III will complete the project with further expansions to reach a capacity of 100 million passengers and 5 million tonnes of cargo p/a. Scheduled to complete by 2050. [ More - original PR - Vietnamese ]
