ACI Europe reported (08-Jan-2013) EU airport traffic "fell into recession" for the second consecutive month in Nov-2012, with flat growth for overall European passenger traffic and continued bad news for EU airports. Passenger at European airports increased 0.6% year-on-year with traffic at EU airports down 1.3% while non-EU airports reported an 8.2% increase. Overall freight traffic at European airports fell 0.5% in Nov-2012, after reporting much worse figures at various times in the past 18 months.
