ACI confirms Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport was the busiest airport in the world in 2015

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) welcomed (04-Apr-2016) the confirmation from Airports Council International (ACI) that ATL served more passengers and hosted more aircraft operations than any other airport in the world in 2015. Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed said 2015 marks the 18th consecutive year ATL has served more passengers than any other airport in a single year. Airport GM Miguel Southwell said the upward trend is continuing as passenger numbers for Jan/Feb-2016 show an increase over last year's numbers for the same months.
