Abra Group CCO: 'We really use Wamos in a very selective way'
Abra Group CCO Angus Clarke, speaking at the CAPA Airline Leader Summit Americas, commented (27-May-2026) on Abra Group's "strategic usage of Wamos Air" to support avianca and GOL since acquiring the Spanish ACMI operator in 2024. Mr Clarke noted GOL will utilise A330 equipment ACMI leased from Wamos Air to commence three times weekly Rio de Janeiro Galeão-New York JFK service on 08-Jul-2026, stating "Wamos will launch that with an A330 on our behalf", as GOL awaits delivery of five A330-900neos it has on order. He added: "We really use Wamos in a very selective way". [more - CAPA TV]
