AAPA pax numbers up 7% in Jun-2013, cargo traffic down 2%

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reports (24-Jul-2013) the following international traffic highlights for its member airlines:

  • Jun-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 18.3 million, +7.1% year-on-year;
    • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +5.7%;
    • Capacity (ASKs): +6.4%;
    • Passenger load factor: 79.6%, -0.5 ppt;
    • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -2.2%;
    • Cargo load factor: 66.2%, -1.7 ppts;
  • Six months ended Jun-2013:
    • Passenger numbers: 107 million, +5.6%;
