AAPA airlines international pax up 4%, cargo traffic down 7% in Nov-2011

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reported (28-Dec-2011) the following international traffic highlights for its member airlines in Nov-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 15.7 million, +4.0% year-on-year;
• Passenger load factor: 74.4%, -1.7 ppt;
• Cargo traffic (FTKs): -6.5%;

AAPA: "Given unresolved concerns about the Eurozone debt crisis, and wider uncertainty about the global economic outlook for 2012, Asian carriers are bracing themselves for another tough year ahead.
