AAI proposes user fees at six more airports

Airports Authority of India's (AAI) reportedly plans to seek approval to levy a user development fee (UDF) on all passengers departing from six airports, covering Mangalore, Tiruchi, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Amritsar and Varanasi airports (Hindu Business Line, 30-Dec-2009). The airports are hoping to levy a fee range between USD5 and USD19.
