Airlines for America (A4A) reported (07-Dec-2016) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines in Oct-2016:

• Passenger numbers: 39.4 million, +1.4% year-on-year;
• • Domestic: 34.6 million, +1.5%;
  • International: 4.8 million, +1.4%;
  • • Latin America: 2.7 million, +2.4%;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 1.3 million, -5.6%;
    • Asia Pacific: 834,000, +10.8%;
• Load factor: 83.8%, -0.9 ppt;
• • Domestic: 85.9%, -0.9 ppt;
  • International: 79.1%, -0.9 ppt;
  • • Latin America: 82.9%, +2.8 ppts;
    • Asia Pacific: 80.8%, +1.3 ppts;
    • Trans-Atlantic: 75.2%, -5.2 ppts.
