Airlines for America (A4A) reported (11-Jul-2016) the following traffic highlights for its member airlines in May-2016:

• Passenger numbers: 40.6 million, +3.9% year-on-year;
• • Domestic: 35.3 million, +4.5%;
  • International: 5.3 million, +0.3%;
  • Trans-Atlantic: 1.4 million, -4.5%;
  • Latin America: 3.1 million, +2.6%;
  • Asia Pacific: 784,000, +0.1%;
• Load factor: 83.4%, -0.3 ppt;
• • Domestic: 86.1%, +0.6 ppt;
  • International: 77.6%, -2.3 ppts;
  • Trans-Atlantic: 72.1%, -5.9 ppts;
  • Latin America: 81.2%, +2.5 ppts;
  • Asia Pacific: 81.8%, -2.4 ppts.
